Armed Robbery Foiled
On July 22, 2019 at 10:42 pm Parsons Police responded to a report of an armed robbery that took place at Border Town, 2901 Main Parsons.
The caller reported that a man wearing a mask came into the store drawing a weapon and demanded money, but before any was taken another vehicle pulled into the parking lot spooking the would-be robber causing him to flee the scene empty handed. We will do our best to follow our leads on this case to a conviction and hopefully this will link us to known drug dealers in Parsons", according to Powell." We are going to make and example of people who put our community at risk and endanger our citizens," Powell finished.
