Administrative Services Division
The Administrative Services Division is headed by Lieutenant Jason Ludwig who reports directly to the Chief of Police. This unit oversees a host of critical functions for the Department, including the Records/Evidence Technician, Community Services Officer (CSO) and Dispatch Operations. Other Unit responsibilities include:
- Special programs including the STEP Traffic enforcement program and UTV/Bicycle Unit.
- All training is developed, managed and tracked by the ASD. All agency instructors while providing training report to the ASD, which catalogs all instructor training packages.
- Manages the agency's Policy Manual and oversees tracking of daily training bulletins.
- Internal Affairs investigations are conducted by the ASD and these reports and their findings are directly shared with the Chief of Police.
- The Department's Annual Report is produced by the ASD.
- The agency's website is maintained and updated by the ASD.
- New department projects and purchases are coordinated through the ASD Office and most large-scale developments are put in place by this integral unit.
- On a daily basis, the Public Information Officer (PIO) function is handled by the ASD which develops and disseminates press releases to radio, tv and Internet.
