For several years, the Parsons Police Department's K-9 Program has served as a frontline defense against the growing narcotics crisis in our city. Brought to life through the unwavering support of generous civic groups, businesses, and individuals, this initiative has provided the Department with a skilled dual-purpose K-9 trained in both Tracking and Narcotics Detection. These capabilities are instrumental in pushing back against the illegal drug trade that threatens the well-being of our residents.

Leading this effort is Sergeant Christian Smith, a dedicated five-year veteran of the Parsons Police Department and his K-9 Partner Morgan. His commitment, expertise, and synergy with Morgan have made the unit a formidable asset to our ongoing public safety mission.

To honor those who have helped make this program a reality, the Department proudly displays a Donor Plaque in its lobby. This public tribute not only acknowledges the contributors who have invested in the K-9 Program's care, maintenance, and equipment, but also reminds the community that it is through their generosity and partnership that we continue to protect and serve. Donors are recognized in four distinct tiers, celebrating the indispensable role each supporter plays in safeguarding our city's future.

Emerald Donator-          Contributions of $1,000 - $4,999

Paw Donator-                Contributions of $50 - $999

These donor contributions will be displayed on a plaque in the lobby of the police department. We also want to recognize the 'Paw Supporters' by adding their name to our web page as a token of appreciation.

Hello, my name is Morgan. I am a full-blooded Labrador Retriever, which is great be cause I love to retrieve drugs from little hidden places. I started my training at the Little Rock K-9 Academy where I learned all about hide and seek. I can find anything hidden. My partner is Sgt. Christian Smith. We like to go on calls where I get to work and show off my skilled nose. I can track drugs, bad guys and lost people too. I am happy to be apart of this K-9 Team!
