Aggravated Battery

On November 23, 2018 at 10:04 pm Parsons Police responded to a medical emergency reporting in the 1800 block of Stevens. Corporal Brice Dickens arrived and found 24-year-old Joshua Bode with a severe laceration to his hand. Cpl. Dickens assisted Joshua who was later taken to Labette Health Emergency Room by personal vehicle.

Cpl. Dickens continued his investigation and found that Joshua had been involved in a domestic fight with his roommate over a personal matter. In the course of the investigation it was found that a multi-edged fantasy fiction style sword was used in the commission of the battery and it was recovered as evidence. Joshua's roommate, Zane Sebree white male, age 22, was later arrested on suspicion of Aggravated Battery.

                This continues to be an on-going investigation and citizens are encouraged to "See It, Hear It, Report It".
